MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER

The team reached our fundraising goal for the 2023 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and proudly walked as Survivors and Thrivers.

FACES OF COURAGE - SAIL AWAY FROM CANCER

We teamed up with Faces of Courage for the annual Sunset Sail Away from Cancer 2023 to raise awareness and support their organization. Many thanks to Faces of Courage and the Davis Island Yacht Club for an incredible experience on the water.

The Pink Dragon Ladies® shared our story at Moffitt Cancer Center to spread awareness.

DISASTER OUTREACH

The team gathered supplies for those affected by Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers.

MAking strides against breast cancer

The Pink Dragon Ladies® participated in the local Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in 2021. The team raised funds for the American Cancer Society and spread awareness through the fundraiser.

2023 IBCPC PARTICIPATORY DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL - NEW ZEALAND

The team participated at the New Zealand festival with a selection of the 240 fellow breast cancer teams from 30 countries across every continent.

Tampa Bay Holiday Paddle –  December

The Pink Dragon Ladies® and the Blue Dragons Paddling Club co-hosted a holiday paddle for all the local dragon boat teams the past several years. After dusk,  the teams paddled up the Hillsborough River and serenaded the riverside homes with holiday carols. Every paddler brought a toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
